The minimum acceptable bid shall be no less than $300 – bids must be in increments of no less than $50
No refund will be given unless the stud service is not reasonably available within the period in which the service is to be utilized. eg - if the nominated sire is unavailable due to illness, death or sale
Subject to conditions, if the winning bidder is unable to utilize the service due to unforeseen circumstances they can on-sell this mating provided the auction conditions are provided to the purchaser and adhered to.
In the event of any dispute the issue will be referred to Committee Members present at the Auction and who are not involved in the dispute. Their decision shall be final regardless of whether or not such members would constitute a quorum for a formal Committee Meeting.
The bidder may lodge bids, either in person on 3rd or 4th July 2010 or by letter or email to be received by the Auction Co coordinator prior to the Alpacas on Show weekend. It is the bidders responsibility to ensure the Auction coordinator receives the written (letter / email) bid by noon Fri 2nd July. The auction will be finalized at 1.30pm on Sunday 4th July 2010.

Winning Bidders
Winning bidders will be notified in writing or by email.
Payment by cash or cheque made payable to “AAA – Queensland Region”, is to be sent to the Treasurer, QLD Region – AAA Ltd within 14 days of receipt of invoice from QLD Region – AAA Ltd. If payment is not received the mating goes to the under bidder.
To be responsible for ultrasounds and “spit offs”
Upon confirmation of pregnancy, to provide owner of the male with a Veterinary certification of pregnancy and in return be provided with an A4 Registration form, completed and signed by the stud male owner. If mutually preferred, the A4 can be lodged online.
No costs are to be borne by the stud male owner
Unless the owner of the male specifically offers mobile matings, (the cost to be borne by the winning bidder), it is understood that the female will go to the stud male for the winning service.
The time limit for the female to be serviced will be one year from the date of the auction.
There is a maximum of 3 attempts of mating for the service unless agreement is reached with the stud male owner.
Service cannot be utilized for any pre-booked matings
Service cannot be used in an embryo transfer program
Responsibilities for the Owner of Stud Male
The male to be AAA Ltd certified and guaranteed fertile
The male to be available for service in Queensland at a mutually acceptable time
If mobile services and live birth guarantees are offered they should be stated as conditions on the relevant sires information sheet, together with relevant costs involved
A4 Registration form correctly signed or if mutually agreed upon, completed online, to be provided to owner of female upon veterinary certification of pregnancy or cria birth.
Subject to availability one free mating to the same female is to be provided by the stud male owner at the farm of the stud male owner under these same conditions if: -
(a) Subsequent to ultrasound confirmation of pregnancy, the foetus is absorbed
(b) or the cria is stillborn or the female aborts during pregnancy
